Haley Scott (she/her) is the Co-Chief Executive Officer at the Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services. Drawing upon a depth of experience, Haley has a profound understanding of the impact that sexual violence and trauma-specific services and supports have on individuals, families, and communities. Haley is honoured to foster collaboration among the sexual assault services in Alberta and works to ensure that all Albertans have access to specialized services and supports. Haley’s motivation stems from a passion for the prevention of violence and her unwavering belief that change, however challenging it might be, can happen by engaging in meaningful community-based dialogue and leveraging those insights to inform public policy and systems change. Haley has a Master’s Degree in Social Work, specializing in leadership, and has worked in the fields of domestic and sexual violence since 2007.
