Kerrie Isaac

Executive Director, Sexual Assault Services of Saskatchewan

Kerrie Isaac (she/her) is a dynamic leader driven by a fervor for empowering individuals through education, networking, and collaborative opportunities to drive societal change. After a decade of experience in child development and education, Kerrie decided to explore new horizons and assumed the role of Executive Director at SASS in 2016. Under her leadership, the organization has grown into a diverse team of academics and advocates united in their mission to combat sexual violence. Isaac has led the development and delivery of education, trainings, programs, events, and resources for survivors with complex intersectional identities. Professional focal points include strategic thinking and planning, relationship management, team leadership, facilitation/coaching, community engagement and collaboration, provincial and national advocacy, and empowering community members navigating social barriers. Kerrie's tenure has also seen significant success in securing funding for pivotal and large-scale initiatives including the Saskatchewan Sexual Violence Action Plan development and ongoing implementation, two research studies that have broadened data and expertise on sexual violence victimization in SK, development of SK-based education training program, and spearheading the Violence Against Women Advocate Case Review best practise model implementation in Saskatchewan.
