Sandra McKellar, MSc, DCS

Executive Director, End Sexual Violence NL

Sandra (she/her) has over 25 years experience working in frontline service delivery in mental health and education as well as volunteering with organizations focused on gender-based violence and gender-equality issues. Prior to taking on her current role, Sandra was the Executive Director with the Gander Status of Women Council/Womens’ Centre.

Sandra is an advocate for ending gender-based violence, as well as for intersectional feminism. Her approach to program development and service delivery is rooted in her experience providing crisis and counselling support to survivors of gender-based violence within community-based organizations.

Sandra holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice, a Graduate Diploma in Assessment and Counselling, and a Diploma in Women’s Leadership for Community Development. Her passion for social justice, community representation, and advocacy especially in addressing persistent and deep-rooted inequalities across society, is reflected by her ongoing volunteer engagement with organizations which support vulnerable populations such as 2SLGBTQIA+ and migrants.
