leia is a Southasian settler living and working on unceded, ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh and Squamish Coast Salish Peoples. she holds a Masters of Criminology and a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Legal Studies. She focused on sexual violence and victimology for nearly 5 years of her studies, looking at the diversity in victims and how resources may not be accessible to certain populations. She hopes to open up sexual violence resources for different communities and to remove these barriers to accessing support. leia is currently the Educational Outreach Program Lead at her organization, focusing her efforts on educating communities on sexual violence and access to support, as well as providing support in community events.
